　　子どもたちの手は花束でいっぱい

　　七月は涼しい雨を運んできて
　　アンズやギリフラワーが花咲く

　　八月はとうもろこしを運んできて
　　収穫の小屋が建てられる

　　九月は実りの秋を運んできて
　　スポーツマンが狩を始める

　　十月はヤマドリを運んできて
　　木の実もいっぱいに実る

　　十一月は北風を運んできて
　　枯葉が舞いながら落ちる

　　十二月はアラレを運んできて
　　暖炉には火が燃え上がる

一年十二か月のおのおのについて歌った歌です。月を追うごとに季節の移り変わりがわかるようになっています。中身をよく読むと、日本人とはちょっぴり感じ方の違いがあるようですね。なお、ギリフラワーとはカーネーションに似た花のようです。
